I was experimenting with taking pictures with my phone. The picture above was taken with the lights in the room off and the flash of the phone on. The picture below was taken with the lights on in the room and the flash of the phone off. I also Auto adjusted the pictures in Windows Live Photo Gallery.
Maybe I just need the light not to shine directly on my design wall?
